Wounded Animal Policy

At Deep Country Lodge if you shoot at an animal and draw blood it is your responsibility as a ethical hunter to make every possible effort to retrieve the animal with your guide.

If the animal is not retrieved your hunt is terminated for that species.

Anyone hunting with bow or crossbow in rifle season is expected to have a rifle to back up the bow. Make your first shot count as it is the most important one.
