SPRING HUNT OVER BAIT & NEW SPOT AND STALK CARIBOU CALVING GROUNDS
Our newest lodge will allow us to hunt spring bear on the caribou calving grounds! This can be done in combination with Atlantic Salmon fly fishing in a cast and blast special being offered in spring of 2021!
We promise you will not be disappointed. The baited hunt provides an excellent opportunity for the avid bow hunter. We have had as high as 35 kills on the one bear stand. There will be different bears at every location. Hand held radios keep constant contact with your guide
FALL SPOT & STALK
We see lots of black bears in the fall mostly feeding on berries on the open country. It is a incredible experience to stalk a black Bear. Add it to your next hunting experience you be glad you did.
ABOUT BLACK BEAR
This magnificent animal can weigh in at over 700 lbs. The Newfoundland black bear credits its size to eating massive amounts of meat, rather than vegetation, especially moose and caribou calves. These enormous animals can kill with one blow.
Newfoundland has some of the largest black bear in Eastern North America. We have killed one of the largest black bear ever taken in Newfoundland, with the skull measuring in at 21 11/16”. This qualifies for the Boone and Crockett all time record book and ranks it #9 in the world in Safari Club International.

Fall Spot & Stalk hunts take place September thru November and offer a great opportunity for both bow and rifle hunters alike.
