The 2026 fall hunting season is officially underway at Deep Country Lodge, and this 2026 photo gallery shows the results so far. As new photos of successful hunts come in, we post them here, so keep checking back every few days for updates. Each photo also lists the hunter and the date of the hunt.
Our fall season runs from the 2nd week of September through the 2nd week of November. During that window, guests hunt Eastern Canadian moose, woodland caribou and black bear from our two lodges and remote spike camps. In addition, the woodland caribou rut peaks in late September and early October, which is why so many of the photos below are from those weeks.
Inspired by what you see? Then start planning your own hunt. We are now booking for 2027, 2028, 2029 and 2030, so see our hunting packages and hunt dates and details. You can also browse our moose, woodland caribou and black bear galleries from past seasons, or read about us with the Newfoundland and Labrador Outfitters Association.
